Students applying for a scholarship must submit their completed application to the Administration Office. As part of the submission process, students will be required to complete an enrolment interview. This interview can be scheduled when submitting your completed application.
Successful recipients will be invited to our Academic Awards Ceremony at the end of the school year to be presented with their scholarship medal by the Principal, Mrs Michelle Campbell.
Along with the scholarship, students will be offered a place in one of our Excellence Programs (eSTEAM, Glenala Netball Academy, Academy of Creative Arts and International Business). Students will be encouraged during their interview to apply for the Excellence Program that reflects their chosen pathway at Glenala State High School. Students who do not submit Excellence Program applications will be allocated to a program that reflects their application submission.
All applications will be assessed and students may be required to sit an aptitude test (AGAT and PAT-M Testing) before the final decisions are announced. Parents, please ensure that you check your emails for more information and important updates.
Students can apply for a Scholarship of Excellence in one or more of the following categories: Academic, Cultural, Sporting or Community.
