Our school successfully participated in the 2019 Darkness to Daylight Challenge for the fourth year in a row. Congratulations to the 300 Glenala students and staff who represented our school proudly to say kNOw to Dome

stic and Family Violence.
We were all extremely proud of Rob Reed from Minter Ellison who completed 90km run/walk overnight. Thank you to Jacque Lachmund from Australia's CEO Challenge and Rob Reed from Minter Ellison Brisbane for organising such an important event that increased awareness of Domestic and Family Violence in the community.
We have exceeded our target of $5000 by raising a total of $6543, after our Tuckshop and P&C contributed $1000 from their sales on Wednesday 29th May.

Our students also performed spectacularly at the Darkness to Daylight Opening Ceremony on Wednesday evening. The Arts staff were instrumental in preparing our singers for this performance.

Many thanks to the variety of staff who contributed to Darkness to Daylight 2019 and particularly to the D2D team – Ms Hickey, Ms Armstrong and Mrs Matthew.
In addition, a warm thank you must go out to all of the students, family and friends of Glenala State High School for your support in spreading the message of saying “kNOw” to domestic violence.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Team Glenala 2019!
