Our Community – Diversity
Inala has always been a culturally diverse community. There are nearly 30 national groups represented in the school population. The largest group is Euro-Australian/Anglo Saxon. Three other most populous groups are the Indigenous, Vietnamese, and Polynesian/ Pacific Islander communities. All contribute to our multicultural mix in their own way.
Ways you can help your school
- Volunteer for Tuckshop Duty
- Encourage your student to purchase from the Tuckshop.
- Offer menu suggestions
- Help in the Library
- Help with the reading Program
- Share a skill with the students
- Get your workplace to offer work experience to the students
- Can you or your workplace donate items of use to the school ?
Donations to the school
The following items are always needed:
- Photocopy paper
- Art materials
- Cooking ingredients
- Second hand Uniforms
- Gardening Equipment
- Motivational items e.g. stickers, free passes.
Anything you think could be useful often is !!
